Day 2/100 Health Challenge
Down a pound from yesterday, and 4.6 pounds towards my goal of losing 10 pounds this month (May). Ate my “big dinner” earlier in the day. Chicken soup with an added chkn breast. (and some crackers, my one “cheat carb”) finished the night off with a power bar and more water.
Also!! Michele and I did 20+ minutes each in boxing VR last night after she was done work! Very fun! That’s our Friday night right there.
We figured out that its 5 of my big cups to reach a gallon, i was off by 2 today, correcting that.
Ill be doing my power shake soon. And will eat perfectly today.
WHY: I wanted to say, right off the top of my head, that I dont want to feel like a failure. But that’s not exactly powerful language. I remember what it feels like to have the easy confidence of knowing that when I tell my body we’re going to do something, or live a certain kind of way, that it WILL happen. I miss that. And its worth doing the work to get back to it.
There is a finite number of times in a row that I accomplish these higher minded things before getting back there, and the net result will be weighing alot less as well. Here are some of those things for me.
When the morning alarm goes off I put my feet on the ground before turning it off!! DO IT NOW!!
When I get a craving for shit food I dont tell my enabler wife. (we are both TERRIBLE enablers when it comes to junk food)
First thing in the morning I do a workout. VR Boxing this morning. *then since i was in there I played some robo-recall. Fun.
